How To Be More A More Positive Person To Live A Better Life

Your mindset is the way you think. This is your perspective of everything. It is the biggest influencer of your emotions and your decisions, and it heavily affects your mood, relationships, and life in general.

Having a positive mindset is the key to success in any area of your life. Positivity is attractive, and I don't just mean in a romantic way. Here are some examples.

  • If you're positive, you're more likely to have a positive interaction with anyone, than if you're negative.

  • You're more likely to get hired if you're positive, rather than negative.

See where I'm going with this?

If you don't have a positive mindset, you'll end up in a downward spiral of negativity, causing self-doubt, depression, and other emotional issues.

Constant negativity about yourself often leaves you feeling depressed, alone and unmotivated and negativity towards other people doesn't make you any better or feel any better. It's toxic to your mindset and your self-worth. And, to be frank, it will make you a miserable bitch. Take it from someone who has been there and back.

I am a firm believer that this world needs all the positivity it can get and now, I'd like to spread a little positivity on to you, with these tips to Be A More Positive To Live A Better Life. In this post, I'll teach you to be a more positive person in simple and doable steps, so you can easily implement them into your daily life. Stick with it, and you'll see a big improvement in your life and yourself. Trust me, life will get better!

1. Dedicate yourself to Personal Growth.

This is the first step, before even starting. When you dedicate yourself to something, you're devoted to that one thing. You're going to spend time on it, without the excuse of "no time."

Remember, no one successful would be where they are today if they just worked when they felt like it. It's going to have to be a priority for you.

2. Gratitude:

It's been scientifically proven that if you write down 3 things you're grateful for each day, you're mood and outlook will improve. You can't argue science.

Write down 3 things you're grateful for every morning. Start the day off right, with a positive attitude!


3. Make Your inner Critic Bite Its Tongue:

Your inner critic is that negative, doubtful voice in your head, that says things like, "You can't do this. You're not good enough for that. " Etc.

By taking control of your inner critic, you can quiet it, leaving room for a more affirmative and motivational voice telling you that you can do anything.

4. Identify Your Dream Life:

Picture what your ideal life looks like. What would you do every day? How would you spend your time? What would you do for a career?

Get a clear picture of what this would look like and write down a detailed description of it. Don't get caught up in how it compares to your life now. Just know that someday soon, you WILL get there! Keep your description somewhere you can refer to it when need to.

When you know what you're ideal life looks like, you can align your goals accordingly and start working toward the life you truly want!

5. Have Positive Expectations:

Setting good expectations for yourself is key when you're setting a goal or working toward a goal. Forget about how you're going to live up to your expectations, just do it. Keep your expectations realistic, but not low, by any means.

Oh, and one other thing about positive expectations.

When things don't go as planned, if they don't, (I'm expecting they will) DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BE DOWN ON YOURSELF.

See the silver lining. Look on the bright side. Whatever saying works for you, do it. You have to find a positive in everything, in order to keep having those positive expectations.

6. A Healthy Diet:

A good healthy diet is the best way to improving any part of yourself from the inside, out.

Foods like sugar and caffeine are addictive. This causes unstable moods and a negative attitude. There's a whole trend around coffee drinking people who hate people or hate mornings.


7. Do Positive Things!

Doing positive things and saying positive things are the two BEST ways to become more positive. Complimenting someone, or doing something nice for someone automatically makes you feel better about yourself and the world, as a whole.

Now that you have the best ways to become more positive, the rest is simply up to you. If you implement these steps into your life, you'll see a definite improvement in yourself, your mindset, and your life.
